Thanks a ton for giving your kind attention to this problem.

I followed your instructions carefully and now it’s working.

Still, I have a little issue with user’s login message.
Let, I am login from site1.com. while login, I am getting login message showing URL as site2.com before auto-redirection at site1.com. Same happens if I login from site2.com.

This can be a little confusing for user if showing another site URL with login message before auto redirection.

I tried add-ons “Free Member” and “Login Redirect” but both don’t work for multi site login. Could you please suggest if there is any add-on or patch available for it?

I am glad to hear it!

I am really not sure how to accomplish that. Maybe with some scripting, like is used for Ajax Login or something similar.

I can move this thread or you can start a new on in Community Support. The users there may have some ideas, some may have accomplished this already.
