I’m suffering from a serious amount of Spam but Profile:Edit does not seem to play with reCaptcha. Has anyone got any advice on how to reduce the amount of spam?

    Hi,

I guess you already tried it, did you considered Low NoSpam ?

Accessible captcha works well for me.  It has reduced much of the computer generated spam… but I still get spam from people who comment manually.  Also I turn off the ability for html in comments.  Most spammers just want the link-backs, so not giving them access helps prevent them from coming back time and time again.  I would also like to try the other plug in mentioned above 😊

Preventing spammers from including links, it’s a real good move.
