This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    Hi there,

Was this ever fixed? I am having this issue in the most current version (2.3.1), and it has been happening to me for a while through older versions also. Would love any help that can be provided.

    Thanks!

    Hi trevorcgibbson,

Could you provide specific details of what you are experiencing versus what you are expecting to happen? Are you using any add-ons that interact with the date or date field?

    Hi Sean,

Most notably, I have found that sometimes when I save an entry with a custom date field (trying to save as “fixed”), it will save as “localized” and display of that date on the front-end will be off by an hour. Opening the entry and trying to re-save as “fixed” doesn’t work (stays as “localized” no matter how many times I try to re-save).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Trevor,

I just tested this on my sandbox install. What version of ExpressionEngine are you on? is it latest version 2.3.1? If not I would recommend an upgrade.

Hmm…interesting. I’m on 2.3.1 already. I see that 2.4.0 has recently been released. Any chance date issues were fixed in this release?

    Hi Trevor,

Since it’s been some time since that related issue was update, and since it sounds like your specific issue might be slightly different, I split the threads so that we could better focus on your topic at hand.

Be on the lookout for an email from me. I want to see if we can nail down the problem!
