Do you get life time updates with the initial purchase of the freelancer license? I was just curios if there is additional fee for each year after the initial purchase?

Hey Bart,
Thank you for your question regarding the Freelancer License of ExpressionEngine!
From the support policy:
You always have download access to the latest release of the version purchased. For example, if you purchase ExpressionEngine 2.0, you’ll always have access to ExpressionEngine 2.x.
So, if you buy a Freelancer license for 2.0, you *always* have access to the 2.x branch of ExpressionEngine. You won’t have to worry about upgrade fees until 3.0, and even then, you will still have the ability to download the latest release of 2.x
