    Hello jam11301,

    Welcome to the forums and thank you for choosing ExpressionEngine!

    Can you clarify a few points for me?

    When you are editing the template which has several lines of code, are you getting the error when you save the template or when you open it? Can you post that error here either with a screenshot or copy and pasting the error into this thread?

    When you talked to your hosting provider and they told you that it sounds like it could be an issue with settings in the php.ini file, did they mentioned which setting they thought it might be?

    Without knowing the specific error, it’s a little difficult to know which setting in the php.ini file needs to be change and by how much, but the most common change we see in the php.ini files is for uploading. That settings is memory_limit=32M;

    I look forward to your response and helping you with this problem.

    Cheers!
