    Hello TheBlackHole,

Which application or plugin set that cookie? That is going to be the offender.

Are you running Google Analytics or Web Stat by chance? Is anything installed on your server that does tracking? It could be that one of those tracking services are leaving cookies that start with _# this seems to be the common denominator, cookies with _# prefix cause the error.

I wish I could be of more help, this is a tricky one, working with trial and error.

Let me know if you are using any kind of tracking application.

    Regards,

    Hi Shane,

I am running Google Analytics. Given that we know that the problem cookies start with _# can we look into a fix similar to the one that is available for EE2?

This is the site that is effected if it helps to look

    Thanks

    Hello TheBlackHole,

I will file a bug for it and see what the Dev teams says.

What I would like you to do is update to the latest version which is 1.7.2 so that I am filing a bug on the latest 1.X release. After you update, test again and let me know. I will then file that bug.

    Sound good?

    Cheers,
