I have a channel for the pages module but I am only using it for the about us page. So I would like to limit the number of entries that the client can enter in that channel to one. Is that possible?

Thank you for posting on the forums.
I am not aware of any procedure that would limit the number of entries that a user can enter per channel. Out of the box ExpressionEngine does not support anything like that. I did a quick search at Devot://ee but did not find any add-ons that might help there.
If you are so inclined and have the PHP skills, you could write an add-on to do this. The community might benefit from such an add-on.
