    This is a bit of an odd one - I’ve tried everything, but I’ve hit a brick wall.

    I have a Safecracker form on the home page, but when it is submitted I get the server error :

    405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
    The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.

    I know that the form is OK because I’ve pasted it into another template and everything works as it should.

    Any ideas what may be causing this issue?

    Useful info:

    EE v2.3.1
    PHP Version 5.3.8
    IIS/7.5

    It seems that if I add a “/” to the end of the rendered action URL using Firebug, the form goes through fine.

    For the moment I’m using JavaScript to change the action URL - obviously this isn’t ideal, so if anyone has any ideas on what may be causing this issue, that’d be great.

    That is an odd error, LightmakerUK. I’ve not seen that before.

    Could you share your SafeCracker form so that we can see the context of this error? Also, have you tried running this form in its own template?

    Hi Kevin.

    Yes, I’ve tried this form on a different template, and it works fine. My guess is that’s it’s something to do with being on the home page.

    Here is the SafeCracker stuff:

    {exp:safecracker
     channel="blah"
     dynamic_title="[blah]"
     logged_out_member_id="4"
     include_jquery="no"
     use_live_url="no"
     return="home/index"
     id="blah"
     class="blah"
     safecracker_head="no"
     }

    {/exp:safecracker}

    Many thanks.

    LightmakerUK,

    Actually it would be more helpful to have the full safecracker code. Could you post the full form here. If it is too long you or parts of it get stripped out by the forum you could always use a pastie.

    Hi Sean.

    I haven’t got time to try and sort this out at the moment, but will do in the next couple of days.

    Thanks.
