I want to set “allow new member registration” under CP Home › Admin › Members and Groups › Membership Preferences to NO, but I get an error due to an incorrect server path and am unable to change this setting.
I searched support and found the exact same problem in this post: Can’t change membership-preferences due to not existing server-path.
Unfortunately, the solution given for that post doesn’t work for me because each of these path settings are set on different pages there is no way for me to change them all at once. Perhaps I am using a different version of EE than the original poster. I am on ExpressionEngine v 1.6.1.
I am having the same issue with spam as the user who wrote the above post with more registrations showing up every day and would very much like to get this resolved.
