I would like to have my Tell-A-Friend form as a modal box and when submitted that the message page returns to the same page the form was on. I have searched the forum for others who would like this to happen and nothing has come up. I have tried using {segment_1}/{segment_2}/{segment_3} but this ends up returning to the previous page.

If anyone knows of a solution please let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi McCoy IT,

Tell-a-friend needs some information to work properly. You could trigger your modal via the link and have it load the template containing your form. The you could have the modal dismiss when the user submits the form.

Since this is more of a how-to than a technical issue with ExpressionEngine, I’m going to move this into Community Help to get you a broader audience.

    Cheers!

    Thanks!
It’s either I use the Tell-A-Friend form or recreate in Freeform and manage the backend. I much prefer the EE standard.
