I have some entries that as ‘superadmin’  I have created - I now want to re-assign the author of an entry to another registered member of the site - who is in a group that has edit capability for their own entries but can not edit others.

I cannot seem to reassign the entry from the ‘options’ tab to anyone else. It is struck at ‘SuperAdmin’ only in the dropdown.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Go to Member groups and edit the group who’s members should appear.

Make sure “Include Members in PUBLISH page multi-author list?” is set to Yes
You may also need to enable Channel assignment for that member group as well.

    Hi mark59,

Did Rob’s suggestion help you out? Those would be the steps to take to get your other members to show in the Author drop down.

Let us know if you still need assistance.

    Cheers!

Many Thanks Bluedreamer - sorry for the delay in getting back in response to thank you.

I had not done “Include Members in PUBLISH page multi-author list?” but I had assigned the channel.

This was a big help - so your answer was very much appreciated.

    Thank you

Dan - thanks for the follow up - you can close this.
