Is there a suggested way to clean up the forum attachments folder?
or, at least, a way to see how many of the files are not used for anything?
I have 125,000 + files in there, and want to clean it up if they are not being used.
This is an archived forum and the content is probably no longer relevant, but is provided here for posterity.
The active forums are here.

Hi handyman,
I spoke to one of our devs on this issue and this is what she told me.
it’s not an existing feature and those should normally be cleared out. but it’s possible stray ones could be in there- and it would take custom coding to go through and remove un-attached ones
Is there anything else I can do to help you out?

Oh, that sounds good then. I wasn’t sure if they were automatically deleted when, for instance, a post was removed. It sounds like they are!
Thanks.
