I’ve had to re-import the database and yet errors persist.

Has anyone encountered this problem? What do you advise?

Many thanks for your support and development of a superior Content Management System.

(Also—I’ve been MIA for a while. It’s good to be back!).

    Have a great holiday season,

    Hi Bobby,

    Welcome back 😊

What were your exact errors please?

When you roll back your database make sure you delete existing database first. See here

Have you been able to re-try your upgrade after making sure your database was clear of any artifacts from previous upgrades?

First, I’m unsure what you mean by “artifacts”.

Second, I did try to re-upgrade EE and got this error:

    A Database Error Occurred

    Error Number: 1060

    Duplicate column name 'field_content_type'

ALTER TABLE `exp_weblog_fields` ADD COLUMN `field_content_type` VARCHAR(20) NOT NULL default 'any'

    Filename: updates/ud_200.php

    Line Number: 1704

    Thoughts?

    Bobby,

It looks like when you re-tried the upgrade after the failed attempt you did not completely drop all tables before restoring your database - see this article on Retrying After a Failed Upgrade.

Can you completely delete your database and then restore from the back up and try again.
