I discovered that a large number of my blog entries are dated wrong in the entry and expiration fields. The dates are OK but the times need to be changed from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM on both the entry and expiration fields. This time stamp is used in a calculation and I’d like to change these to be what they’re supposed to be rather than what they are. Is there any way to do this without opening each single entry and making the change in the date fields?

    Thanks for any help given.

Your best bet is to run a script straight on the database, an entry’s dates are stored inside the exp_channel_titles table (in unix time) so looping over those and changing them will be fastest.

Ah . . . I guess you’re referring to the mysql database. I’m not quite sure how to go about that, but I’ll give it a try.
    Thanks.

There is a multi-entry edit interface.  If you go to the Edit tab, select multiple checkboxes in the right-most column, then scroll down to “edit selected”  you’ll enter the “multi-entry editor” where a limited number of things can be edited.  It’s not a batch-editor, but rather just a way to view multiple entries on one screen but still change them one at a time.

Ah. . . ha! Thanks for that info. That may be of help. However, since there are about 500 of these entries, I may end up just leaving them as is and hope that it won’t mess too many things up in a way that is detrimental.
But, I have a couple of options and I appreciate it.
    Thanks!
