I am trying to prevent multiple logins from the same account, so that no member gets to share his username and password,something like in this thread:http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/191523/

from the CP Home ›  Admin ›  System Preferences ›  Security and Session Preferences
both control panel session type and user session type are set to Session only
and Allow multiple log-ins from a single account? is set to no

and referring to thread above i cleared out my exp_security_hashes table
and still can login at the same time from many browsers within the same PC and from another PC too.

the same problem i was facing more than a year ago… where i’ve been asked to upgrade to the latest version.. which was 1.7 back then.. and after upgrading still having the same problem,

Hi Dan,

I end up changing the table of exp_session ,
where i make the member_id field a primary key for this table, so no 2 access from the same member can have 2 sessions….

the dynamic=“off”,.... did not work… when i changed the above,.... but i was not needed ...

so i guess i am ok now…
