I have created a new member group and called it Admin I want to give Admin users the permissions to publish and edit pages.
When I publish as an Admin user I only get the status of closed.
When I edit as Admin it changes the status to closed.
In Admin/statuses there is open and closed and both allow admin to access it (see image).
What else could I be missing?
I am using 2.3.1
I also created an account that had super admin permissions and that member still couldn’t make a post open.

In the groups for the channel, does it have status group set to none? That has caused this type of issue for me in the past.
