This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I applied the solution for the bug #16092, but I am still invisible when I login as “visible online member”...

I have tried several IDs, two different admins and one test member…
I have tried several browsers: Safari, Chrome, FireFox…
I have tried login from different pages: about and forums
same result, member logged in as invisible…

I just double checked if I applied the bug fix correctly, and everything is as instructed…
but in my database, when I login, the “anon” data is still “y”...
and when I clear manually this (y) data in database, everything works fine…

the estrange thing is, doesn’t matter if I choose “show me” or “not”... this value keeps being “y”...

    ———————-
I do not know if this has something to do with the problem:
I save the templates as files, then reversed this preference…
am I fixing the wrong files?...

    advice. please

    Hi deschamps,

Are you still running on 2.2.2 and 3.1.5? Is there anyway you can update to the latest versions as the fixes should be included in ExpressionEngine 2.3.1 and Forum 3.1.6 Get those updates in place so that we are both running on the same version and then we can work from there.

    Thanks!

Were you sure to apply these fixes to the actual ExpressionEngine php files and not your templates? Correct? Can we get a look at this hands on, just to be sure the patches were applied correctly?
