    Kevin,

    Look at this page as an example.

    http://trend.d1.cosly.com/blog/lees/brandstofcellen-de-gadgetbatterijen-van-de-toekomst

    If you are not logged-in in CP you see an image of a guy, but if you are logged-in then you won’t.

    Template is: blog/lees

    Awesome, thanks for the login details and the example template. I’m having some of my guys look into it right now.

    Thanks for your patience!

    I think we might have a bug on our hands, but one that has an easy workaround for now. Could I get everyone to try this and let me know the results on your end?

    For the user whose photo is not being shown to logged-in users, go into My Account to edit the settings for that user, click on Edit Preferences on the left hand side, and then make sure Display member avatars in entries is checked. Click Update.

    Does the photo properly show now for logged-in members and guests alike?

    Edit: Also, do make sure that you have avatars and member photos enabled under Members > Preferences.

    I’m experiencing the same problem. I have followed all the suggestions above and still no user photo.

    I stripped my code down to:

    {photo_url}

    The alt and Title tags both show up as: {photo_url}. So from Firebug the source code looks like this:

    <dt>
    {photo_url}
    </dt>

    and what I see on screen is the text: {photo_url}.

    I solved my problem, I didn’t have the HTML that wrapped {photo_url} enclosed within {exp:member:custom_profile_data}. Once I did that I got member photos.

    Simple fix (for me anyway). The code below fixed my problem.

    {exp:member:custom_profile_data}
        {if photo}
      {photo_url}
        {/if}
     {/exp:member:custom_profile_data}

    RSHunter,

    Glad you got that worked out and thanks for posting your solution. I’m going to close out this thread, but feel free to post again when you have more questions.
