IP access restriction to to template or template group

Hi,

Working out a new project for a client.

Part of their site is an intranet. The request is to allow access to the intranet template group by IP (whitelist). This is an additional security layer on top of EE’s member group access. Is this possible in Expression Engine or are there third-party alternatives available.

Hi Rob,

ExpressionEngine doesn’t have a native way to restrict access to templates based on IP. I did a search over on Devot:ee and there doesn’t appear to be any third-party add-ons that offer this either. You might be able to contact a developer in our Pro Network for a custom Module to accomplish this.
