Really odd- and I can’t replicate.  The only difference is the url you use for the Member Photos ‘URL to Photos Folder’?

Hrm- looking at the code, if you switch it back to not force https, does it display logged in?  Looking at the code- I suspect the logged in difference may be due to ‘$this->EE->session->userdata(‘display_photos’) == ‘n’’ - which should be determined on an individual level based on their settings for ‘Display member avatars in entries’ in your ‘My Account’ settings.

So true and so very strange. Because you are spot on, all members have suddenly lost the checkmark on Display member… but all new members in the last couple of days still have the checkmark. I didn’t think to look there because it’s photos and not avatars. Still, something has prompted the system to change the setting for all members.

Well, I’ll just change it in the database and hope it doesn’t happen again.

Strange is the word.  I skimmed through trying to spot how the heck that setting could be changed in mass and I’m still not sure.  That’s definitely what we want to keep our eye on, though.  (And yes- one does not immediately check avatar setting to see why sigs aren’t showing 😉).

For now- keep an eye on that setting and if it does mass flip again, we’ll need to delve further.  Now that you know what to look out for, we might spot how it happened.

Glad the photo issue is at least fixed- but yes, I’d watch closely for any oddness with that setting.  And if a problem occurs again, let us know and we can go in and try to figure out why it’s happening.
