Hello,
The company I am working for is in the process of re-designing our site. Our current page is on godaddy and was created using their website creator.
My question is this. When we switch over what is the best way to make sure that all of our indexed pages in google do not 404 when a viewer tries to click it? Ideally we would like all of the current pages do redirect strait to the home page since the old site will have very little in common with new one as far as the way we present the content.
All of the current pages are in http://www.example.com/html. I’m assuming that this can be accomplished via .htaccess as well?
