How to Remove Height and Width from Images in the Backend?

    Greetings,

Whenever EE calls an image it automatically inserts a height and width into the image tags (which is nice most of the time).  However, I’m creating a responsive EE theme and I need these attributes left out of the tags so that I can get the images to scale correctly when the screen size is changed.

Is there any way that I can override these settings in the backend?

    Thanks in advance!

    Respectfully,

I am coming across the same issue and would help some help with this as well. I’m going to an EE user group tonight so maybe I’ll find out then and post it here if I do 😊

I’m looking into doing this a different way now, if you scale images they still download at full size and then scale from there causing slower load times on a mobile.

This guy here: http://adaptive-images.com/ has a better idea that solves the scaling issue as well as the bandwidth issue.

If you would be so kind, please let me know if you decide to use it.  I’m so slammed right now that I had to put this issue on the back burner for now.

    Thanks for your reply!

You bet! I’ll see if anyone else has used it, but it looks pretty solid. I’ll post a link to the site if I use it.

    Thanks!
