Hi, Im having problems working on a few recent sites whereby the ‘view site when offline’ feature is not working. Usually, whilst logged in (as super admin) I am able to view a site whilst offline, however for these two in particular (which were the most recent purchased) it no longer works - all my sites are hosted on the same server and theres nothing peculiar as such in the .htaccess file - just makes it awkward to work on as I have to keep switching on and off whilst working on it.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Scott,

can you check there is no difference in the domain name you are using for both the back-end and front-end?
A difference of ‘www’ would cause what is happening

Are you using Sessions, Cookies or both for the Control Panel?

You say recent sites but can you confirm the versions of EE please?

Hi, Scott. Does this mean that you no longer require assistance? Sounds like you figured it out.

Hi Sue, yes seems to be OK now - I think the initial problem was the htaccess file from the HTML5 Boilerplate - I have since modified and taken out the things that have caused interference.

    Thanks
