I just did a fresh install of EE 2.2.2. Started working on development: uploaded and activated some add-ons, create channels, created template groups and first template, created a few entries to start, etc.

Then suddenly all CP pages are just blank white screens. No PHP errors, no source code. Same goes for front-end pages.

I thought at first it might be a problem with my .htaccess file (I was removing index.php with nsm .htaccess generator) so I deleted the .htaccess file entirely, and still no luck. All EE pages are dead.

Any idea what would cause that? Is there a way to debug what is going on or should I reinstall EE?

Now everything appears to be back to normal, but in the time between now and my first post the pages have gone from blank to normal to blank and back to normal again.

Is this possibly a hosting problem?

It might be a hosting problem, I was able to bring up the link to your control panel just fine too.

Yeah I suspect it must be. If this happens again I will contact the host.
