    Hi folks,

    I think I’m going made here. But what is wrong with this tag:

    {exp:channel:entries channel="news" author_id="{segment_3}"}

    When segment 3 is ‘2’ in the URL it doesn’t list the posts I want it to (it returns blank). But when I use the code:

    {exp:channel:entries channel="news" author_id="2"}

    It works! Where am I going wrong?

    Thanks,

    Gregor

    Hi, Gregor.

    EE thinks you are wanting 2 to be the entry_id, so if you add dynamic=“no” to your exp_channel_entries tag, does that work?

    Thanks Sue. I did try that, but for some reason it didn’t work. I did it again and it’s now working! My fault.

    Thanks for the help.

    ***Correction*** - I tried it on the wrong template the first time! 😛

    Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
