We recently took our site live from a development subdomain. Everything seemed to be working fine, but now I realize that a number of the path settings never changed. I keep trying to change the following, but when I update, they are still as they were:

URL to your Control Panel index page

      URL to Documentation Directory

    ExpressionEngine 1.7.1
    Build:  20110520

    Hi, PCCS.

Double check that you don’t have those settings somewhere in your config.php, and that your config.php is writable. Might that be the issue?

Thanks. It IS in the config.php. I’ve changed it there via FTP for now, but I’m guessing I have a permissions problem. (Just switched to a Windows server, and I’ve been running into them left and right…)

What does the file need to be writable by? (i.e., what’s the UNIX CHMOD equivalent?)

It needs to be the Windows equivalent of 666.
