I am planning to upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.3.1. I’m wondering where are template files (from DESIGN > TEMPLATES) are stored? I’m afraid of losing them when I do the upgrade.
I saw “Saving Templates to Text Files” instructions, but found it not to the answer I’m looking for.

By default templates are stored in the database. I’ve never had any problems losing template data when upgrading sop you should be fine, of course it pays to backup your database before doing any upgrades just to be sure to be sure!

Thanks! I did looked into the database and found where they are stored. My upgrade went really well.
