    Hi,

I’m not sure if this can be done but maybe someone might have some advice!

If I have 2 categories assigned to a channel, is there any way I can check if category x is assigned to that entry and then add that category name to the url?

I need to do this to do an if statement on the url segment to apply certain styles to particular pages

    Thanks in advance!

EE reads URLs and uses them to determine what entries to return.  I think what you are asking is actually the reverse of that (listing entries and changing the URL) - so, no, I don’t think this is going to be doable.

I’d look to running your conditional against the content of the entry rather than the value of the URL..

Ok, thanks for the reply! I think a query might also do the trick!
