After upgrading to EE 2.3.0, when I try to set the date field to PM, I cannot type a P. I CAN type AM, but not PM. If I save and then edit that same entry, it allows me to type the P. It only seems to choke when creating new entries.
I have verified this with 2 EE 2.3.0 upgraded sites.

I wonder if its been reintroduced, or if somehow one of your files didn’t actually get updated from a previous version of EE.
I’m going to follow this thread to see what happens.

It’s an issue for us because we run digital signage off of EE and set the entry/expire dates accordingly. :-(

I didn’t know there was a 2.3.1?? It does not show up on the changelog?

I experienced the same problem after updating to 2.3.0. A work around is entering the time in 24hour mode 5:30pm = 17:30

I just applied the 2.3.1 patch and now I can’t type the A in AM. I could have sworn before the update, I couldn’t type the P for PM, but I guess I could have been wrong.
In any case, the issue is still there. Hopefully Ellis Lab will hurry back from partying at EECI and get this patched! 😉

Hi Jacob,
I can also replicate this behaviour in 2.3.1 and so have placed a bug report here for you.
If you follow that bug report then you should get notified once the bug has been squashed.

This is not the only issue with our EE Date Picker… The formatting table no longer exists either.
Javascript and/or Ajax has not worked since 2.3 update in several places including Date Picker… i.e. Channel/Author sorting in Edit Screen, and several third party scripts broke as well, that worked prior to this update from 2.2.2.

I’m going to close this thread out as there is the bug report in now so if you all follow that you will be notified of when it is squashed or whatever is going to be done in respect of that problem.
If anyone has any other bugs to do with all of this though then please do go ahead and post a new thread concerning them.
