Hi Tator,
No, I’m afraid BWF does not currently support Assets. This on the road map.
Best wishes,
Malcolm

quick questions…when a draft is pending approval are email notifications sent to admin? thanks.

Hi Philips,
Yes, when you assign a channel to use Better Workflow you specify a member group to receive email notifications when an entry in that channel is submitted for approval.
Thanks,
Malcolm

Just a quick message to let you know that Better Workflow 1.2 has been released!
We now have now implemented an API to help any third-party add-on developers add compatibility with BWF. Take a look at the API documentation for more information.

Hi Brandon,
Interesting idea, we’ve just released version 1.1 today. We’ll give it a think for our future development plans and get back to you.
Adam,
When a draft is pending approval an email is sent to all members of the member group you specify in the Better Workflow options.
Thanks,
Rob
Rob,
Any chance I could pay or donate to you guys to implement this change or feature request. Our team really needs this and I would be willing to pay for the implementation. Let me know. Send me a pm or email.
Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Brandon,
We have had a number of requests for this feature and are looking into our options. The biggest challenge to version comparison is the use of third-party field types (such as Matrix) which can be rendered in many different ways on the template.
It _might_ be possible to provide a ‘what’s changed’ button which would open the live and draft versions side by side. We could then look to integrate with a third-party Diff tool to provide some visual clues as to the specific parts which are different.
However we tackle this it is going to be a big challenge and is not top of our list for feature development as we are prioritising those features for which we have had the most requests.
We’ll keep this thread updates of all developments.
Thanks,
Malcolm
