Is there somewhere in prefs this could possibly be disabled? Trying to figure out why autosave isn’t working at all.
I want to set autosave to every 1 minute because we are running a news site that has its editors working on stories and the windows are open for up to thirty minutes for each entry.

Can you upgrade to the latest version of EE please and see if issue persists
You also have a config variable available to change the amount of seconds for autosave

I could but the site running over 20 add ons and I don’t want to have to upgrade them all for possible downtime. Anywhere else I could look?

Checked in config file editor and I had already had $config[‘autosave_interval_seconds’] set to 30.
also checked in config.php and see it added to config item list on line 24. Should it be set in both thee places? Conflicting possibly?

The hard value in /system/expressionengine/config/config.php will always win. Are the 2 values out of sync compared to one another? Have you tried adjusting the value in config.php to 60 seconds?
