I’ve got a strange situation in that I have a blog entry with an image that is being cropped with ce_image and on MSM site1 it works perfectly. On MSM site2 it does not.

The thing is it is only a problem with one particular image. All other blog entries with images appear on both site1 and site2. Interestingly if I choose a different image from the one that is causing a problem and use it in the offending entry - that image displays in both site1 and site2.

Now back to the original image. I’ve tried making minor edits to it in photoshop and saving it again in order to create a completely new image (this worked for me in the past when I had a similar isssue) however this did not help.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Are you saving the image as RGB and not CMYK? I presume the image isn’t a 6mb 4000 pixel .jpg 😉

Bluedreamer it’s in RGB and the file is less than 500kb

Hmm, strikes me there’s something about the file itsself that EE can’t process, maybe wrong mime type? have you tried template debugging to see where it falls over? Might get a clue there…

(1.863463 / 15.40MB) Returning No Results Content - clearly CEimage isn’t seeing the file.

As a test can you upload the file to a standard File custom field and output it to a test template using a standad IMG tag, or even just call the image custom field tag so you see the path?
