    Hi,

I just purchased MSM and an extra site giving me a total of 4 sites in addition to the root site.  My MSM version is ‘Version: 2.1.0 Build: 20110622’ and my EE version is ‘v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801.’  I have my sites set up in a different way: maybe that could be the problem.  Instead of having domain1.com, domain2.com, etc.. on the same server, I just created a new folder for each site at the root so my site displays site1.com/site2, etc…

Also, I’m not able to save a template as a file either.  All of the sites are sharing the same system folder, and the templates are displaying fine, but when I go to my templates directory only the default_site directory is showing even though I have checked the box to save the template as a file during creation.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello woodlandschurch,

Let’s see if we can get this sorted out for you. You are verified to have 4 sites available to your MSM, so let’s get that sorted out first. If you could FTP into your site and locate and remove the following files:

    /system/expressionengine/controllers/cp/Sites.php
    /system/expressionengine/language/english/sites_lang.php
    /system/expressionengine/libraries/Sites.php

Once you have those removed, re-download MSM from your My Downloads area and then re-upload those new files to your site.

For your template-as-files make sure you have the proper path in Design-> Template-> Global Preferences: Basepath to Template File Directory for each site’s control panel.

    Cheers,
