I need to list a series of results from 2 search queries and it seems right now if I add {exp:channel:entries search:custom="x" search:custom="y"} it only displays entries that match BOTH searches. Is there a way to display searches of one result and searches of the other?

You could use 2 separate Channel entries tags, one for each search value?

Have you tried “contains” matching in the search parameter?
search:body="pickles|shoes"This example would return all entries that contained the term “pickles” or contained the term “shoes”.
