Hello All,

Im new to expression engine and need to get up and running quick. I have been designing websites since 1998 and have been through the days of Frontpage (way back) then the many years of Dream Weaver and Cold fusion then the latest years of PHP and ASP.

I gotta say EE is totally new for me and wondering if someone has any good videos to get me going with terminology/how it works. I have been able to stubble my way through getting EE installed and the initial index page to work (Template) but still clueless and slowing down.

Any good reference please send quickly….I have looked over the documentation so yes I know where that is 😊.

Train-ee is a great resource. Tutorials, ebooks, screencasts, in-person classes; it’s all there.

Mijingo also has some great resources, such as a series of screen casts ( http://mijingo.com/screencasts/learning-expressionengine-2-complete-series ) and a few eBooks that take you through the steps involved in building an EE site.
