This question may be related to a resolved thread.
we’re using ExpressionEngine 2.2.2 build 20110801 and Discussion Forum module 3.1.5 with proper hacks applied to fix a known bug. Our pagination links show, but the pagination doesn’t actually function - the page just reloads whether the pagination is present in the URL or not.

The extra twist is that the pagination does work on my local machine/dev sandbox, but fails on the production site, which is hosted on EngineHosting. I diff’ed the forum module from the live EH server with my local copy and they are identical. I temporarily disabled .htaccess rules at EH to make sure there wasn’t any trouble there, but that made no difference.

We do have a custom URL structure in our “forum” area, like:

    <a href="http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/support/addon-url-title/viewforum/1426/">http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/support/addon-url-title/viewforum/1426/</a>
    <a href="http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/support/addon-url-title/viewforum/1426/P50">http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/support/addon-url-title/viewforum/1426/P50</a>

but this has always worked in the past. The only thing we’ve done recently is upgrade our site to EE2, and upgrade the forum to 3.1.5. Any ideas? Should my question be directed at EngineHosting?

Hey hey, this is resolved. Was a conflict with a 3rd party extension. We can delete this thread as it is no longer relevant.

Thanks for the update Ryan. Before I close the thread can you tell us what extension the conflict was with as it may help other people?

This particular problem was with Structure. They are doing some custom things with pagination that use the sessions_start hook. The developers are aware of the issue and are developing a permanent fix for this conflict.

    Ryan,

Thanks. Yeah it has come up a few times, mainly for entry pagination. I reported it to them a good few months ago. Closing this one out. Feel free, as always to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
