Hi Support.
I understand EE offers the referral tracking which allows you to see how many incoming clicks you effectively have from a single domain.
But this does not have the ability to log links from other sources, non web based, i.e. desktop email client, or similar.

Is there any kind of tracking you can suggest that would allow a record of all incoming links and their source - i.e. even if it does use a tracking code ?track=from-me

I cannot find anything on devot-ee, nor really anything on forums, hence asking for access to your heads for things you might have seen mentioned before.

If not, i guess this will require a custom module to be built to check for a query string, record it, and present it in the CP.

That sounds like an interesting idea for an add-on! Sounds as though you’ve done all the requisite footwork, and I am not aware of anything that would do this. I’ll move this over into Community Help to see if there are any ideas from the group at large.
