Please help…
I logged into EE to Admin—> General Configuration, and unchecked the “new version auto check”.  It sent the command to the server and I received a positive confirmation back (green “1” in the right hand corner).

I then went into my templates to look at my home page template… decided I needed to reference the website before I made an edit… and behold the website is GONE.

I go back to the control panel… and try to ‘undo’ the “new version auto check” that I had set.
The Control Panel no longer functions.

What happened??
How can I get everything back up??

Weirdest thing… it suddenly just ‘came back up’ on its own.
Glad it did… can’t say I’m too pleased with the anxiety of everything ‘disappearing’.  If anyone might have a clue as to what would cause this, I’m very much interested.

Glad you are up and running again. I am going to close this for now but feel free to start a new thread if the issue returns and we can troubleshoot from there.
