I have just installed EE2.2.2. I have passed the password check. I reach the control panel but none of the menu items (Content, Design, Add-ons, Members, Admin, Tools, CP Home)will bring up their respective panels. They all just invoke the control panel so the display never changes. Help and +add menu selections display although not properly. I have to hit the browser refresh button to get those two panels to display. That does not work for the other panels. I have not added any components to the system as yet. I am following the Ryan Irelan tutorials in order to learn EE. The expression engine version is v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801. I am using Firefox V6.0.1and IE V8.0.7601.17514. The OS is Windows 7 SP1. The PC is an HP Pavilion dv6 with a 2.00 gigahertz Intel Core i7-2630QM.
