    Hello everyone.

Have a few questions today about managing EE with GIT.

First off, if I have an advanced install of EE, which is the root folder in which I should initialize my git repo?
One folder contains my theme files and the other contains my system files and templates. How do I track both of them?

Secondly, what all exactly should I version control?
Just the templates and static files or the full setup?  Masuga advises that the contents of my upload directory can be ignored.

But doesn’t changes in file names and file meta data mean that these need to versioned too? I am obviously worried about the size of my repo and setup 2 months down the line?

Help me sleep better at night. These things are driving me nuts 😊
