MSM problems after 2.2.2 upgrade

I just upgraded a live site and although Site A seems OK, Site B (not yet live) has some quite nasty problems:

    1) I don’t seem to be properly recognised when accessing Site B. If I turn it off in Admin, I cannot see it. If I protect a template, I cannot see it.
    2) I have updated the root directory URL of Site B, but this is not reflected in the template paths. They are still pointing to the previous domain.

I don’t know if I have caused this by not upgrading properly? I didn’t copy across the MSM files to the new system folder until AFTER I had run the update (might be worth a reminder in the update docs). Is that likely to be relevant? If not, what can I do to resolve this issue?

Or is that I need to update the assign_to_config variables in Site B’s index.php to reflect the new domain? In which case what is the role of the root URL setting in the CP?

Please let me know - thanks!

    Hi there zackmorgan,

I’m sorry this is an issue for you. Have you followed the outline in the user guide for MSM: Setup domains and sub-domains? Make sure each site’s index.php and admin.php files are setup according to those instructions and double check your paths and URLs.

    Cheers,
