hi, I’m trying to update a site from 2.1.3 to 2.2.2, dropped in the new files, including admin.php and the new system folder which contains the install folder.

Ensured files are writeable, opened my browser and pointed it to admin.php. Clicked upgrade to 2.2.2, accepted the terms, got an error saying “Cannot find class: Template”. The error message is codeigniter-style. My config file app version variable was updated.

After all this I reverted my site to my backup and tried again getting the same results, please advise.

    Hi, Kindari.

I don’t see that particular error message anywhere in the forums, so it’s not something we’ve run into earlier.

Are you using any sort of third party extensions or the like that may be contributing to the problem? That’s the first place I’d look, and perhaps re-upload the files using a different FTP program.
