Sue, there’s tons of stuff from addons in that folder. I can’t loose those files, can I?

You’ll need to make sure you add back in any items that are in either of the third_party folders, both from the /themes/third_party folder and the /system/expressionengine/third_party folders

No luck. I’ve re-uploaded the complete themes folder. Same behavior as before.

Hi Eelco,
It looks like you’ve come up across this bug which has been fixed. I recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of ExpressionEngine 2.3.1 which should then resolve your issues with publish layouts.
Please get back to us after you have completed the upgrade.
