I’m building a learning management site with EE and have most of the pieces in place. I would like to add a Notes section in a template that would enable the logged in user to maintain notes that can be saved just for him. So he should be able to create the notes, save them, and edit them. Any suggestions on how I can implement this?

I had 2 ideas, but an not sure I’m on the right track.
    1. Would Safecracker work for this? I haven’t used it yet, so if this is the correct tool, how would it work?
    2. My other thought was perhaps using commenting, which I haven’t used either. Could comments be made viewable just by the user who creates them? And can they be editable by the user?

    Suggestions welcome.
    Thanks

Setting up a channel for notes would be your best bet here, and then creating a form with safecracker to edit & delete 😊 Good luck!

One more question. If I use Safecracker, should I be able to have the user’s notes carry over from page to page within the lesson?
