I have changed the address URL to the root directory of your site using the Membership Preferences General Configuration.

Google is still showing the sitename.ehclients.com/index.php and not http://www.mysitename.com

Is this an indexing issue or do I need to change the site url somewhere else.

    Tks

You need to re-submit your sitemap.xml to Google with new links or you can use Google Webmaster Tools to remove old links.

So this is not related to EE settings.

    mrmcbreen,

Vibrant is correct, this would not be related to EE, per se. I’m going to move this into Community Help to keep the discussion going.

Feel free to start a new thread if you ever need technical assistance with ExpressionEngine.

    Cheers,
