Client experiencing timeout error

    Hi there,

    Our client has just started using a new site running EE2.1.3 but is finding that if she spends more than a few minutes creating/editing an entry clicking submits results in a ‘Page cannot be displayed error’.

    We’ve tried a couple of things so far (turned off secure forms, added a cookie domain) but to no avail.

    We cannot recreate the error at our end so it could be a problem with her system.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Not overly sure, however I’d try the following:

    Does the error occur on other machines at her place of work
    Has she tried an alternative browser

    Hi Greg,

    Would it be at all possible to try as Lee mentions above and see if the error occurs on a different machine for them too?

    If you can’t replicate the error your end then it may just be that they have a slightly iffy internet connection which is causing their connection to fail however if you can see if you can reproduce it on other machines there first then that would be great thanks.
