Hi All

Is there any way to crop member avatars instead of resizing them? I’d like to crop each one to fill a square, 138 x 138 pixels. Ideally I’d also like to create a smaller version of each, in the way you can with normal image uploads. I could of course leave them full size and then crop them with an Image Sizer plugin, but it’d be great if there was a way to do it automatically on upload… I’m on EE 2.2.1.

I’ve not seen any addons that can do this, have you checked http://www.devot-ee.com to see? I’d normally opt for the Imgsizer method 😊

Yeah I couldn’t see anything on devotee for this… It’s a shame that avatars and member photos don’t have the same functionality as normal uploads. I think Imgsizer is probably the solution. Thanks!

Frank, or try CE Image. Imgsizer is no longer supported by the original author.
