    Hello,

I am running the latest version of EE2 and have been working on a local copy w/ mamp pro. Now that I have pushed to production, I goto the domain, http://www.vansdqm.com as well as to CP and it just downloads the index file w/ config settings etc.

If anyone has had a similar experience and can lend me some feedback, I’d be very grateful.

    Thanks,

    Scott

    Hi scottmey,

Can you use the server check wizard to ensure that the new server meets EE’s minimum requirements?  Please let us know the results.

    Thanks!

Yup. Mediatemple. Previously had another EE2 install before. Continues to do this, just downloads index.php or admin.php ...

    Hi, scottmey -

It sounds like it’s not recognizing those as PHP files.  The server check wizard gave the all ok? I know some shared hosting environments allow you to switch between PHP 4 and 5 which might be a factor.

We also have this in our user guide on troubleshooting.  I think it’s time to ask MT if they have any ideas on this.

    Hey Lisa,

    When I goto http://www.vansdqm.com/ee_wizard/

it just downloads the ee_wizard/ index.php

Going to try one more thing but i’m perplexed.

I would strongly recommend that you contact MediaTemple about this; I think they’ll be needed to get to the bottom of it as it sounds like a server config issue.
