This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I’m trying to setup my client’s website’s KEYWORD SITE SEARCH.

I tried the advanced search module, but it doesn’t seem to pick up the keyword in the ‘text body’ which is a custom field for that channel.

It seems to only pick-up the keyword from the title.

So doing a keyword search for a text found in the ‘text body’ returns no result.

Just need to rule this out first - when you look at the field settings for the ‘text body’ field, have you specified that it is searchable?

Yes, it is ticked as searchable.

The field type is Wyvern and ‘Is field searchable?’ is set to ‘Yes’.

The EE search module, should pick up any text in that field right?

You probably need to add the search_in parameter - as per docs here - http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/search/simple.html#par_search_in . So in your case, search_in=“entries” . Any luck? Try it with the simple search tag
