I am aware of this thread which may be related to my issue http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/196920/, but I don’t see a solution.

In my case, when on a entry form in the CP if you click on Add File, close the upload window, then click on Add File again nothing happens (the upload window does not appear again). This appears to have started after updating to the latest build (2.2.2 20110801). I have attempted to recreate the problem on a local install, with no success. I have also updated all other add-ons to current versions on the site where the problem is occurring.

I’ve tested with same results in FF 5.0.1 and Safari 5.0.5 on Mac.

More related to the thread I noted above, neither the the files nor the list/thumbnails view dropdown appear in the upload window when it does appear (on first click).

    Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

    Hi Geoff,

What version did you upgrade from?
    Are you using any add-ons?

Did you try Wes’s suggestion in the related thread?

    John Henry,

    Upgraded from 2.2.1.

Yes, using many add-ons (Structure, Matrix, Wygwam, BrilliantRetail, Freeform, Draggable, Template Variables, NSM Morphine, Beech, Freebie, Low Seg2Cat, Downloader, File Oracle, Linker, Shortee, Stripit, Tally, StripHTML, TruncHTML, TweetLine).

Sorry, didn’t see Wes’s suggestion. I believe I found the code he is referring to, however mine appears a bit different. Could you please confirm what the correct syntax should be to implement his suggestion?

    Wes’s example:

    [...]url:EE.BASE+"&"+EE.filebrowser.endpoint_url,cache:false,type:"GET"[...]

    My original code:

    (EE.BASE+"&"+EE.filebrowser.endpoint_url+"&"+a.param(c),d)

    Thanks!

    Geoff,

Did you take care to replace /themes as part of the update process? Make sure to backup any items in /themes/third_party before uploading a fresh /themes directory.

    Cheers,

    Dan,

I thought *for sure* that I did, but I did it again to be sure and it’s now working. So I either didn’t or did something wrong. Thanks for the assist. Case closed.
